Cindy has been with the firm since 1987. She practices primarily in the areas of real estate law, employment law, probate and trust administration, estate planning, and business law.
Before joining the firm, she served as a law clerk for Minnesota Court of Appeals Judge Susanne Sedgwick and for Winona County District Court Judge Lawrence T. Collins.
Cindy is an elected fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, the premier organization of real estate lawyers in the United States. She is Co-chair of the Minnesota Title Standards Committee, which promulgates standards for examining real estate titles and documenting real estate transactions in Minnesota. She has been a speaker at various continuing legal education and interest group seminars on the subjects of real property law, estate planning and employment law.
Cindy has served on the boards and committees of a variety of community organizations, including the Winona Family YMCA, Winona County Historical Society, Minnesota Beethoven Festival, Winona Day Care Center, Women’s Resource Center, and Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical Foundation. She enjoys reading, cooking, travel and outdoor activities.
